The Power Of Six (Pittacus Lore)

With the FBI on their tale, John, Six and Sam are trying to track down the others and avoid the humans and Mogadorians.

Number seven- more commonly none as Marina- has been in a church orphanage for most of her life. Her Cepan has been ignoring their calling and is turning to religion to save her. She is completely ignoring Marina's legacies and pretends the Mogadorians are not out there, watching Marina, waiting until they can kill her.

Marina has had no training with any of her legacies and will probably be useless in a fight because she has not been trained properly.

Meanwhile, John, Six and Sam are guarding their lives with John chest, full of his inheritance. But for the most part, the rare gems are useless because no one knows how to use any of them.

In the orphanage, a new girl named Ella has come. Instantly, Marina and Ella become friends. But how can Marina have a friend when she knows she is being followed by the Mogadorians? If Ella gets killed by any of them, it will be Marina's fault.

Now that the charm is broken, everyone is fair game and can be killed.

I think the one bad thing about this book is my favorite character is not in it 'cause he died in the first. It's really bugging me that he is still not alive. I'm really hoping he somehow rises from the dead.

This book had a lot more action to it with a lot less characterization. I still hardly know Six, simply because only half of the book has her in it, and the half that does is in John's point of view, who is distracted by her strength/body, not her personality.

I was really hoping there is one novel out there with no relationship drama. This book is not it. Now they’re a love...pentagon/ square? I really wished Henri was right; Loric only fell in love once.

I'm not impressed with Sarah at all right now. I'm really hoping she was not the one who did "it", but I have gut feeling she did. It she did not do "it" I'm going to be really mad at John for having a crush on *blank*.

The suspense in this book was good, but it would have been better if someone died. Now, it's getting repetitive; someone gets found by the Mogadorains, Six saves them.

However, everything else in the book was amazing! The plot, imagery and, especially the symbolism. I can't pick apart all the literacy devices because they were all used fairly well; it was only what the characters did that sucked.

4.75 out of 5 stars
