**Contains spoilers to "Hades"**
When Xavier asked Bethany to marry him, neither of them quite understood what Heaven would think of it.
But giving up everything they had besides each other was not part of how they imagined marriage. They did not think Seven angles would try to hunt them down for disobeying Heaven.
Xavier did not think he would have to leave his family.
Beth did not think of what Ivy and Gabriel would have to decide between.
Neither of them thought Gabriel would have to give up something so important to him.
But marriage is about sacrifice, so they should have already known what they were going to have to give up.

There was a build up since "Hades" for a war between Heaven and Hell. IT DID NOT HAPPEN!!! I am so disappointed in that.
This book had way too much going on. There were, like, 4 mini climax's, but not a real big one at the end. Mostly, because the ending was so predictable. It was what everyone thought would happen at the very end.
I was shocked by how much Gabriel changed in this book. He did things that he would have not even conciered doing at the beginning of the series. His dynamic change made everyone else seem static.
*******SPOILER ALERT******
There was so many story lines that did not end. Gabriel and Molly was the one that bugged me the most. There was so much build up for them to become a couple. I was routing for them. But they did not even say if they got together at the end or not.
Another thing; did Gabriel stay being an Arch angle? Was did bumped down because his disobeyed The Seven? Did his wings grow back? Does he still have human emotions???
Also, the fight between God and Satin. That would have been so interesting to read! Ont thing that really annoyed me was the fact that God never interferied with Beth and Xavier's relationship. Even Satin had a role in it!
But at the same time, it ended when it had to. Beth and Xavier got there "happily ever after". But It would have been nice if there was an epilogue saying if they had any kids, if Xavier's family forgave Beth or how Ivy and Gabriel were affected by Beth becoming a human.
Personally, I think Xavier should have died and then became an angle like everyone knew he would. Now, I think the ending is a little less sweet, because we know when he dies he will become an angle, and Beth won't be with him.
This book was good, but there are so many unanswered questions.
4.5 out of 5 stars.
